Fed by peat-rich runoff from the surrounding landscape, the water appeared almost black in places. Standing along the shoreline, I was struck by its depth and darkness—you couldn't see the bottom, only reflections of the sky and distant hills stretching across the surface. The effect created a sense of mystery that felt both beautiful and unsettling.

What drew me to this scene was the atmosphere. The layered mountains, muted colors, and dark water gave the landscape a quiet intensity that felt distinctly Scottish.
